About Scopecoat™

Scopecoat™ was started by inventor Dan Evans in 1994. Dan, a long time shooting enthusiast since childhood, was confronted with an irritating problem regarding his per sonal gun collection. Every time he took a gun with a scope out of the safe, no matter how careful he was, he usually managed to bump or scrape the finish of his expensive scope. Dan wanted complete protection for his scopes, not just lens caps. He needed a practical, inexpensive, adjustable cover that would protect his equipment while in storage or in use. Thus, the inspiration for the Scopecoat™ protective cover was born.
